Here’s a simple overview of the process:
• Before Your Flight
You’ll be matched with a pet and connected with our team. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
• At the Airport (Departure)
A local volunteer will meet you with your travel buddy, their carrier, and all supplies (pee pads, wipes, water bowl, treats).
• Check-In and TSA
We’ll walk you through check-in if needed. At TSA, you’ll carry the pet while the carrier goes through screening. (Private screening is available upon request.)
• During the Flight
Your furry passenger will travel safely in their carrier under the seat.
• Upon Arrival
A Furiend Flight volunteer or the adopter will meet you to take the pet home 🐾
• Layovers
If you have a connection, most airports have pet relief areas available.
